Holman Band Performs at Six Flags Music Festival

Please congratulate the members of the 8th grade band on their performance this Friday at the Six Flags Music Festival. The students performed for three college professors and earned a "1" Superior Rating!! Out of the 17 groups there, just three other groups earned a 1 as well!

Thank you so much to all of you who have made sacrifices to allow the continued success of our band program here at Holman. Many of these students wouldn’t have the opportunity to participate in something like this without the support, flexibility, and encouragement from our amazing staff.

This performance is one that our band students look forward to throughout their entire middle school experience. It’s one of the big culminating events that wraps up their time in the program, and this group made it one to remember. They worked incredibly hard to prepare, and it showed—not only in their music, but in the way they carried themselves all day. Their performance, behavior, and teamwork were a perfect reflection of what makes Holman such a special place.

Our Spring Concert is Wednesday, May 21. Please come see the wonderful things these students are achieving and help give them the send-off to high school that they truly deserve!
